What you might be wondering is how exactly do you get from Your Hometown, USA to the Dominican Republic? Good question.

You’ll be happy to know that you can fly from virtually anywhere in the country to the Gregorio Luperón International Airport in the Dominican Republic. This airport is located in Puerto Plata, a very short drive from La Vista at Cofresí itself. Gregorio Luperón is currently served by Delta, JetBlue Airways, American Airlines, Continental, Air Canada, and AirEuropa. With all those options, we’re pretty confident you can get an easy flight from the United States to the Dominican Republic with minimum fuss.

Of course, Villas Cofresí is not right next to the airport, but, then again, who would want to stay in a place like that? It is, as we said, only a very short drive. How short? It’s about 20 miles away. You can get a taxi from the airport to La Vista for under 10 bucks, a better deal than any US taxi service for sure.
