One of the closest golf courses to La Vista in Villas Cofresí is the Playa Dorada Golf Club. The Playa Dorada Golf Club is an excellent course and a very short drive from Cofresí and La Vista. The course itself stretches along the north Dominican coast and features an on-site restaurant and bar where non-golfers can relax while waiting for their friends. Green fees are reasonable, carts and caddies are available, and the course opens at 7 in the morning.

If you’re interested in golfing at more than just Playa Dorada, then you’re in luck. The Dominican Republic is easily traversable by car and there are over a dozen truly fantastic courses for you to try. There’s the Links in Casa de Campo, the Punta Espada Golf Course, the Quintas de Primavera, Las Aromas, Teeth of the Dog, and a whole lot more.
